The Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of health in our community through education, funding and volunteer support. We have continuously contributed to the well-being of our community for over 77 years by granting more than half a million dollars to community organizations throughout the greater Sacramento region. In addition, we contribute thousands of dollars annually to support medical school and nursing scholarships. Our membership is composed of spouses/domestic partners of physicians, physicians, medical students and house staff, as well as our Friends of Medicine supporters. In association with the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society we are committed to improving the quality of life in the greater Sacramento area. Your contributions of time money or both can make a BIG difference. For more information please contact us by e-mail at info@ssvmsa.com. |

Art of Medicine A Huge Success!
The Alliance raised over $28,000 at the inaugural Art of Medicine Auction on April 25th, 2010. Over 150 guests enjoyed fine wines from Beyond Napa Wine Market, McConnell Estates Winery, Moniz Family Wines and Sean Minor Wines while perusing the unique artwork and jewelry and boutique wines for auction. The evening ended with a memorable concert by Dave Katz, MD and the Festival Brass Quintet. The Alliance will be hosting the 2nd Bi-Annual Event in April of 2011! We hope to see you there.
