| Blood Drive In partnership with the SSVMS and Vitalant, we are supporting the community's pressing need for lifesaving blood units. Thank you for supporting our recent July 29th and October 21st blood drive! Our next blood drive is April 21, 2021. For more details about blood drive, see Upcoming Events on the Home page.. Through their efforts to provide basic needs goods to low-income families, we encourage Alliance members and friends to send a gift via the Godmothers of NorCal's Amazon wish list. |

Community Health.jpg)  | The Food Literacy Center Delivered 300 holiday cooking kits to Ethel I. Baker Elementary School students. This school is located in a “food desert”. These kits were filled with fresh produce and all the ingredients the students need to cook a healthy meal at home for a family of four. It also included a printed recipe, coloring sheets, farmer’s market information and how to use their EBT benefits for fresh produce and crayons. Community Health Workshops |
Alliance Student Scholarships | SSVMSA supported two students from Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. View their videos to get more detail about their experiences. We support local nursing and medical students by providing them with financial assistance through our Alliance Scholarships Program. |
